Monolithic Insulated Concrete System

Monolithic Insulated Concrete System (MICSTM) is a well-proven system of formwork for reinforced concrete usually made with a rigid thermal insulation that stays in place as a permanent interior and exterior substrate for walls, floors, and roofs. MICSTM forms are interlocking Modular units that are dry-stacked (without mortar and filled with concrete, once laid out. MICSTM construction can be used for both low rise commercial and high performance residential construction as more stringent energy efficiency and natural disaster resistant building codes are adopted.

Maiwir Infra aims to cater the housing needs of growing population by providing sustainable, safe & affordable technological solutions for faster & cost effective construction of houses suited to various geo-climatic and hazard conditions of the country.

MICSTM built-in energy efficiency significantly reduces annual energy costs when compared to concrete structures, providing substantial savings over the life of the structure. It delivers energy savings in heating, cooling and ventilation. Due to this, it ensures operational energy savings of 40% or more compared to a conventional House.
Direct cost savings for MICS as a result of decreased labour required, reduced material, decrease in overheads, cheaper construction due to economies of scale, less transportation and logistics costs due to light weight.
MICSTM walls can be engineered to bear greater loads than pre-casted or ordinary concrete walls vertically and horizontally. This system can withstand wind speeds up to 200-300 mph, being a monolithic structure that can be easily reinforced and thus strengthened.
Saves tonnes of Water that is required for curing. With this construction technique, the walls are cured in less than 24 hours. So, eliminates the need to use tonnes of water for curing.
The MICSTM wall system can be designed up to a seismic zone of 7.8 (Earthquake Proof). MICS homes take on the worst natural disasters.
The MICSTM wall system is under Sound Transmission Class (STC) 50, which provides much needed acoustic comfort for happy living.
MICF technology is non- toxic and does not compromise with the quality of indoor air throughout this building’s life and hence the lifestyle of its occupants.
This particular technology was certified by BMTPC (Building Material Technology Promotion Council) under the Ministry of Urban Development & Housing of India. Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has made Mr. Sarath C. Parupalli a committee member to draft Green- Affordable Housing Standards of India.
